Cultural and Social Events

Cultural and social events are a key feature of the Stazione’s activities. The Fresco Room with its paintings by Hans von Marèes is frequently used for chamber music concerts mainly given by ‘I Musici dell’Aquarium’. This small orchestra, consisting of musicians from the Naples San Carlo Opera House, was formed to renew the ties between Sciences and the Arts, particularly music that marked the early days of the Stazione Zoologica.
